Tranny odds-on favorite to win Miss Universe
Miss Universe is breaking new ground at this year’s pageant with the first transgender contestant to ever compete for the crown, and those betting on the competition are declaring her a heavy favorite.
Angela Ponce won her qualifying rounds in Spain and will represent her country at the 2018 Miss Universe pageant in Bangkok, Thailand.
Ponce, who hails from Seville, was the first transgender woman to be crowned Miss Universe Spain and is competing to promote gender diversity and equality.

Drag Queen Admits Story Hour Is For “Grooming Of The Next Generation”
It’s really interesting to listen to mentally ill sodomites who try to tell you something is what you claim it is only to turn around and actually admit that what you said is true. Case in point, Dylan Pontiff, a self-professed sodomite and drag queen, who tells a city council that he is “normal” and that he isn’t pushing an agenda and in the same breath claims, “We are trying to groom the next generation.”

Pontiff, who helped organize one of the Drag Queen story hour events for children as young as three at the Lafayette Public Library in early October, told the Lafayette City-Parish Council in Louisiana during a Sept. 17 meeting, “I am not there to push any kind of agenda. I am just as talented as a singer or dancer or anyone that has a special talent. Mine is just dressing up as a woman and entertaining a crowd.” More here
Indonesian city to fine LGBT for being ‘public nuisance

PADANG (INDONESIA) (AFP) – An Indonesian city plans to slap its gay and transgendered residents with a one million rupiah ($70) fine for disturbing “public order”, underscoring a marked rise in discrimination against the Muslim-majority nation’s small LGBT community.
The country of 260 million is in the grips of a moral panic, with critics saying the vulnerable LGBT minority is being used as a political punching bag in the run-up to 2019 elections.
Homosexuality is not illegal in Indonesia — except in Islamic law-abiding Aceh province — but there has been a backlash against the community in recent years.
The shift, led by increasingly powerful religious hardliners, has dented Indonesia’s reputation for moderate Islam.
This week, Pariaman city on Sumatra island passed a sweeping regulation banning “acts that are considered LGBT”.
The regulation, which has been reviewed by AFP, forbids “immoral acts” between same-sex couples and prohibits residents from “acting as a transvestite”, but it offers few concrete examples of banned behaviour.
“Same-sex LGBT and transgender people will be subject to sanctions and fines if they disturb the public order,” said Fitri Nora, head of the local legislature. Read more here

Miami Herald – Fior Pichardo de Veloz, a grandmother arrested in Miami, suffered a serious indignity at the hands of the Miami-Dade County Corrections Department: jailers booked her as a man and she spent nearly 10 hours in a holding cell surrounded by leering inmates.
Her shame was compounded when a federal judge threw out her lawsuit, saying the jail staffers were protected from a trial for negligence.
But clearly disturbed by the outrageous mistake, a federal appeals court this month reinstated the lawsuit against the jail doctor and nurse who insisted jail officers book Pichardo as a man — even though a strip search had already shown she was a woman.
“Every reasonable prison officer and medical personnel would have known that wrongfully misclassifying a biological female as a male inmate and placing that female in the male population of a detention facility was unlawful,” Judge Frank Hull wrote in the unanimous opinion released Nov. 21.
She was arrested at Miami International Airport on Nov. 4, 2013. From the start, the evidence was clear that she was a woman — the arresting officer listed her gender as female.
At the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, the only jail where inmates are booked, she was processed as a woman. At 7:17 p.m. a female officer strip searched her, examining her private areas to make sure she had no contraband hidden on her body.
Even though Harris, the nurse, was not in the exam room, she inexplicably told the jail officer that the exam had revealed “everything fell out” — meaning, Pichardo’s supposed male genitals had been discovered. Officer Morman protested, even calling her supervisor. But the officers had no choice but to go on the doctor’s orders.
Pichardo insisted to an officer she was a woman. “You are a woman. Good luck if you’re alive tomorrow,” the officer replied, according to the opinion. Read the whole article start to finish here
City Code could Force Churches to Hire LGBTQPXYZ Employees in Austin, Texas
(CBN News) – Churches in Austin, Texas may soon be forced to hire homosexual and transgender employees, including pastors, if a city ordinance is implemented. The city says it guarantees “the opportunity for each person to obtain employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age or disability.” The Houston-based US Pastor Council and the Texas Values
organization is suing the city in federal court over the code. Both groups argue that the ordinance forces churches to go against their biblical beliefs and does not include a religious exemption for churches in Austin that refuse to hire homosexual or transgender people as employees, including pastors. Austin city officials are not backing down. They defend the ordinance which basically says churches have no right to insist their employees accept and practice a church’s teachings on homosexuality. Islamic Exorcisms Aim to Cast Out LGBT Demons in World’s Largest Muslim Country

Police in one of the 20 biggest cities in Indonesia recently apprehended 18 couples in an attempt to “cure” their LGBT identities through Islamic exorcism. According to the local Muslim belief, homosexuality and transgenderism come from spirits known as “djinn,” who are cast out in an Islamic exorcism, known as “raqyah.”
“There’s been a number of cases who have reacted [to Islamic exorcism] meaning they’re not pure and that there’s a supernatural interference inside their bodies pushing them to commit [homosexual acts],” Islamic cleric Aris Fathoni, from the Ruqyah Association for Sharia in Indonesia, told ABC News Australia.
Fathoni insisted that raqyah can address all ailments “whether medical or non-medical,” including encouraging homosexual and transgender people to resist their sexual orientations and identities. The cleric suggested that LGBT identities result from mental illness and an Islamic form of demon possession.
According to ABC News Australia, police in Padang — Indonesia’s 19th largest city, located on the island of West Sumatra — are working with the Islamic exorcists, rounding up 18 couples for “psychological support and rehabilitation.”
