Chick-fil-A Banned from Buffalo Airport for ‘Anti-LGBTQ Rhetoric’
Chick-fil-A has been banned from operating as a food vendor in the Buffalo Niagara International Airport after a Democrat New York assemblyman tweeted the restaurant supports “anti-LGBTQ organizations.”
After hospitality management company Delaware North and the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) approved of plans to incorporate Chick-fil-A into its airport renovation plans, Democrat Assemblyman Sean Ryan called upon the authority Friday to reverse its decision, reported New York Upstate.
By the end of the day, Ryan said the privately-held family restaurant business was banned from the airport project: Read more here
Child Psychology Prof Who Was Effectively Fired for Opposing Transgenderism Fights Back
Last Thursday, Dr. Allan M. Josephson sued leaders at the University of Louisville, alleging that the university demoted and effectively fired him for opposing transgender “treatment” for children. Josephson claims the university punished him for his speech at the Heritage Foundation.
“Universities are supposed to be a marketplace of ideas, but the University of Louisville is turning itself into an assembly line of one thought,” Travis Barham, a senior counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), the law firm representing the professor, said in a statement. “Dr. Josephson has had a long and distinguished career at the University of Louisville, leading and rebuilding its child psychiatry program. Public universities have no business demoting or firing professors simply because they hold a different view than their colleagues or the administration, but that’s exactly what’s happened here.”
Dr. Josephson became a medical doctor in 1976 and a board-certified psychiatrist in 1982. He is licensed in Georgia, Kentucky, Minnesota, and South Carolina, and he has authored, co-authored, or edited at least 42 articles in scholarly journals. He became chief of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology at the University of Louisville in 2003.
In recent years, however, Dr. Josephson has testified against the trend of treating children with gender dysphoria (the persistent condition of identifying with the gender opposite one’s birth sex) with treatments affirming a transgender identity. Drugs that block puberty or cross-sex hormones can endanger a child’s long-term psychological health, he argued.
In his 2016 testimony in the case Carcano v. McCrory, he argued that biological sex is immutable and based on objective binary genetic facts, while gender identity involves a basic sense of oneself as male or female — a social construct. Since “children are not equipped psychologically to make many important life decisions,” pro- transgender parents “abdicate their responsibilities if they allow children to ‘decide for themselves’ regarding key life decisions.” Read more here

Rep. Jayapal: Protect Transgender Freedom by Regulating All Americans
The federal government must regulate behavior by 330 million Americans to protect the freedom of transgender people, says progressive Democratic Rep. Pramila Jayapal.
“My beautiful, now 22-year-old child told me last year that they were gender nonconforming,” she tearfully said Tuesday, while using the “their” pronoun in place of “he.” She described how her son claims to be neither male nor female:
I came to understand what their newfound freedom ― it is the only way I can describe what has happened to my beautiful child, what their newfound freedom to wear a dress, to rid themselves of some conformist stereotype of what they are, to be able to express who they are at their real core … My child is free to be who they are. And in that freedom comes a responsibility for us as legislators to protect their freedom to be who they are and to legislate … behavior towards all people in our society.
Jayapal’s demand and her tearful celebration for her adult son’s “freedom” came during a hearing about H.R. 5, the Democrat-drafted bill that would require federal agencies to pressure Americans into agreeing that men and women can change their sex by declaring an opposite-sex “gender identity.”
This bill is not a stretch for Indian-born Jayapal, because she is a progressive who favors top-down direction of Americans’ economy, civic life, culture, and population. For example, she justifies this demand for government authority over sexual identity with a claim that progressives can maximize people’s freedom by imposing intensive regulation on thoughts and words. Ex- transgender Walt Heyer: ‘We are ruining an entire generation of young people’
WASHINGTON — A man who underwent a sex change and now regrets it is urging people to resist transgender medicine and related therapies, saying we are medically “manufacturing” children as transgender and abusing them.
Speaking on a panel before a small crowd gathered at the Heritage Foundation Thursday, Walt Heyer, a man who formerly lived and identified as a transgender woman named Laura for eight years. He underwent surgery in 1983 and spoke of his experience of being psychologically abused and how that contributed to significant discomfort with his body. This is now playing out on a massive scale, he said, and the medical establishment is pushing these dangerous hormonal treatments and surgical interventions on thousands of young people.
Heyer is the founder of Sex Change Regret and is reportedly hearing from many more people who now feel as he does.
“We get letters from parents or the transgenders themselves asking for help, after they’ve lived the life like I did for five, six, 15, 18, 20, all the way up to 30 years. And they are saying ‘Walt, can you help me de-transition. This was the biggest mistake of my life.'” Read the rest here
