She lived as ‘Jake’ for nearly 10 years before realizing it was all a lie
There was no way she was ever going to go back to being a female. She hated the thought of being a woman. Being a man was exactly who she was supposed to be. Or so she thought.
Laura Perry was deep in the transgender lifestyle. She was taking hormones, legally changed her name to Jake, got a double mastectomy and had all her female reproductive organs removed. She was “the happiest” she had ever been in her life — except she wasn’t.
“I have everything I ever wanted … and I was still depressed,” Perry recalled Saturday at a conference called God’s Voice in Oklahoma.
But she wanted “so badly to erase the existence of Laura.”
Perry began fantasizing about being a boy early in her childhood. She felt unloved by her mother, who was a devoted Christian and very involved in church, and noticed her mother was more loving toward her more quiet and obedient brother.
Her mother, Francine, had lost two boys before giving birth to Perry. So Perry always thought, “Maybe mom wishes one of my brothers was still alive instead of me. I knew they had wanted three kids. If one of my brothers had lived, I probably wouldn’t be here. I used to fantasize … about being my brother.”
The tension in her relationship with her mother continued into her teens.
Also during her childhood, she was molested at age 8 by her friend’s 9-year-old brother. Though it happened once, “it really changed me … I became so sexually addicted.”
She was sexually active as a teen but she found herself getting dumped by all the boys.
“I began to feel jealous because I felt they (boys) had all the power … they were in control,” she recalled, pinpointing another reason she wanted to be a man. Read more here
Female Athletes Fear Criticizing Trans Women in Sports Because ‘It’s Not PC,’ Olympian Says
Former British Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies has joined a few lonely voices in taking a stand against biological men competing with biological women in women’s sports, but she said a great many female athletes keep silent for fear of retribution. She also suggested that young women might want to avoid sports because they fear unfair competition.
On Monday, a Sky News anchor asked Davies about “some speculation that there are more women in sport who would like to come out and talk about this but that they’re concerned about doing so because they will possibly lose sponsorship. Have you had conversations with people who’ve said, ‘I don’t want to put my head above the parapet?'”
“Yeah, many, to be honest with you, quite a lot of people,” Davies said. “Especially, as you say, people who are competing at the moment. They’re worried that their governing bodies will frown on it; they’re worried that their sponsors will think it’s not PC.” Read more here
Pelosi: Trump’s Ban on Transgenders in the Military ‘Humiliates Brave Americans’
Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has accused President Donald Trump of using his ban on transgenders in the military as an excuse to “humiliate brave Americans.”
In a Tuesday night tweet, House Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) said that President Trump’s transgender ban “is designed to humiliate brave Americans.”
“Trump’s trans ban is designed to humiliate brave Americans,” she posted on Twitter.
“It is deeply concerning that DOD officials appear to have given inaccurate testimony to Congress to justify a discriminatory policy.
“We must ensure that hate doesn’t dictate our national security,” Pelosi added. Read more here
‘The Kind of Guy He Takes Home to Mother’: Cottonelle Latest Among Brands Using Homosexuality in Advertising
Kimberly-Clark’s toilet paper brand Cottonelle is the latest to use homosexuality in promotional advertising, as one of the commercials in its recently-released “DownThereCare” series centers on advising a man to give himself a “confidence boost” in meeting his partner’s parents for the first time.
“Down there, because today you meet the parents,” the 15-second advertisement states. “So, before they sit you down, give your [bottom] a confidence boost with ripples that remove more at once for a superior clean, and make you feel like the kind of guy he takes home to mother.”
It then shows two young men smiling at each other.
The commercial, also posted to YouTube, has received 70K views as of press time, and has generated over 800 likes and more than 500 dislikes.
Cottonelle has disabled commenting for the video, but some have posted about the advertisement on Twitter—both positively and negatively.
“Thank you @cottonelle for supporting my community. You have a new customer,” one viewer wrote.
“I just went out and bought two jumbo packages and switched over to Cottonelle’s products. Thanks Cottonelle for a stance on diversity,” another stated.
“Stick to selling tp and leave the social issues alone,” a third urged.
“After 20+ years, I’m breaking up with @cottonelle. Too bad. Be aware what you embrace. Be more aware what you promote,” another wrote.
Cottonelle has replied to at least two commenters, telling one, “No matter a person’s orientation, gender or anything else, being clean impacts everyone. Here at Cottonelle brand, diversity is embraced in all aspects and we are proud to share a commercial that is representative of that.” Read more here

He explained: “The most important step is the harvesting from the donor as great care is required to avoid damage to the arteries and veins supplying the uterus.
“The actual “plumbing in” is straight forward.
“The donor vessels are connected to the pelvic artery and veins which are the same in both males and females.
“With a uterus transplant in a trans-female, the neovaginal would be opened at the pelvic end to accept the donor womb.
“And the same procedure is used in a cis-female transplant with the donor uterus being attached to the native vagina.
“Trans females have a much narrower pelvis than cis-women of the same height, but there would still be room for them to carry a child.

Parents Outraged After SoCal School District Approves New Sex Ed Curriculum For Middle School Including Instruction on ‘Gender Identity’
Parents in Orange County, California are outraged over new updates to a sexual education curriculum for middle school students that include ‘gender identity’ and recognizing same-sex relationships — these students are between the ages of 12 and 13 years old.
The Capistrano Unified School District Board of Trustees approved of the new implementation in a 6-1 vote and updated the materials required under California law — the new curriculum will be rolled out in May of this year.
Trustee Jim Reardon, a conservative Republican, was the only one to vote against the new Marxist updates to the sex ed curriculum.
In order to comply with the 2016 California Healthy Youth Act (CHYA), the Capistrano Unified School District added new updates to the sex ed program which includes information on healthy vs abusive relationships, HIV awareness and prevention, same-sex relationships and instruction on gender identity.Gender identity instruction will include teaching students about “gender-inclusive” language which advises teachers to use pronouns such as “they” instead of “he or she.” Read more here
